I’m super excited because I just received my package from Mac filled with items from the RiRi Hearts Mac Collection. I’m not a fan of Rhianna at all but I have to say I FELL IN LOVE with the packaging… its out of this world amazing. Plus there were a few really unique and versatile pieces. I’m sure you’ve seen posts galore featuring these products but in case your interested this is what I picked up: the Pro Longwear Lip Pencil and Lipglass in Riri Woo, Who’s That Chick Lipstick, Bad Girl Gone Good Satin Blush, Diamonds Cream Color Base, and Hibiscus Kiss Powder Blush.
Riri Woo Pro Longwear Lip Pencil is a cool toned red with a matte finish. At first impression it glides on and seems pretty pigmented. The texture is super smooth too.
RiRi Woo Lipglass is a cool toned red with a super glossy finish. I love the lipglasses and dont mind the stickiness so the formula is good in my opinion. I actually wore this one yesterday, its super pigmented and looks beautiful on the lips. It didn’t feather or smudge and lasts for a good 4 hours. I opted out of purchasing the lipstick as I’m not a huge fan of matte lipsticks as they tend to be extremely drying on me plus I love the ease of using a gloss.
Surprisingly I was drawn to the Who’s That Chick Lipstick the most. Its a orangey bronze with a frosty finish. I’m not normally a fan of frosted lipstick but sheered out this shade is really nice and wearable, and it actually complimented my fair complexion. Its a pretty unique shade and I can definitely make it work. I’m thinking it would look great layered with a nude.
Bad Girl Gone Good is a pale muted brown with orange undertones. I thought this might pull too orange on my skin but I think it could actually work as a contour shade for fair skin. I haven’t tried it yet but ill report when I do.
The Diamonds Cream Color Base was the item I was most excited about. Its a beautiful shimmer champagne. I wore this one yesterday too and it was so easy to blend on to the cheekbones. It really gave a light ethereal glow. Love this.
I picked up the Hibiscus Kiss Blush Powder since I skipped out on it last time it was released. It has a bright coral blush on one side and a mid toned brown bronzer on the other. You can wear the shades separately or swirl them together for a warm coral flush.
I skipped out on the eye shadow quads as they seemed to really lack in the texture and pigmentation department (at least what I saw from other blogs!!) and the brush sets didn’t appeal to me. So far I’m pretty happy with my choices I made. The packaging is to die for and from first impressions the products seem to be great quality. I definitely need to play around with them and really test them out before I can give a full review. Have any of you purchased items from this collection, whats your thoughts on the quality and packaging?
