Hey Everyone 😀
So Ive been playing around and testing out the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lavish Palette for a good week now so its time to give you guys the ins and outs of this kit.
I picked mine up here at cultbeauty.co.uk (ships internationally) for $42. The shipping was quick and easy as always 😀 On to the actual products we go…
The kit is housed in a sturdy cardboard box with a crazy “lavish” pattern. This may seem tacky for some but I think its fun and fresh! In the box you receive a great booklet for inspiration and guidance from some of the most coveted makeup gurus at the moment. The palette also contains an eyeshadow palette and a bunch of other goodies.
The bottom of the box houses a pair of those famous Slanted Tweezers (best tweezers ever, super sharp and precise), Perfect Brow Pencil in Brown (great for defining the brows), Covet Waterproof Eyeliner in Noir (my new favorite eyeliner, great pigmentation and it actually stays put on the waterline!!!), and a double sided brush (check out my Catwalk Palette review here to see how the brush preforms) .
Ballet: A super light baby pink with silver glitter. Unfortunately this is my least favorite shade. The pigmentation was lacking a bit and the texture was rather dry and chalky. A white base is definitely needed to make this color appear more opaque.
Orange Soda: A pale orange with a matte finish. The texture is so smooth and soft for a matte its absolutely wonderful. The pigmentation isn’t insane but I like that its a bit sheer, it works perfect for buffing out hard edges around the crease and creates a gorgeous fade. It really is a beautiful and unique shade.
5/5 for this great kit at a great value. The tweezers are amazing they are actually the best ones i’ve ever tried. The covet eyeliner is pretty darn amazing too. It actually stays on my waterline without smudging or smearing. The brush included is decent for a kit and actually useable. The piece de resistance has got to be the amazing eye shadows. Most of the shades had amazing pigmentation with wonderful textures. I was a tad disappointed with Moss and Ballet but I can still make them work. None of the shades gave me any fall out either plus the box is totally reusable. I’m really happy I grabbed one of these bad boys, it really is a lavish kit 😀
