So to no surprise I’ve been super MIA… after getting back from holiday I started my full time job with Make Up For Ever, was plagued with a nasty flu and I’m now finally recovering from a mean old case of sinus infection, hence the lack of posts. I really need to come up with a posting plan so I don’t ever let my blog be on the back burner. So I’d thought I’d come back with some fun nail art that I’ve created over the past month or so.
This is just some inspiration for all you lovely folks but if you’d like a tutorial or a run down then definitely leave a comment and ill try my hardest to give a step by step.

So I’m back in Copenhagen after a lovely holiday in Cali visiting the parents and I finally had the chance to try out the new GelLack Neon Collection by Depend Cosmetic. Each polish costs 79 dkk (around 11 Euros) and can be purchased here on Matas.com
I used Neon Greenand Neon Coral on my accent nail, and added a super cute anchor charm from Hex Nail Jewelry (can be purchased here).
I absolutely love the shades in the Neon Collection, so bright, fun, and totally summer appropriate. You get full glossy opacity in three coats (totally normal for neon shades) and of course it lasts for weeks. To find out exactly how to apply GelLack I have a full tutorial and review here.
And since I’m talking about Depend Cosmetic; they are throwing a super lavish VIP Party and Event for all you lovely ladies (and gents) out there. It will include drinks, eyelash applications (done by yours truly), an awesome goodie bag full of presents and some good old fashion fun. The event is on Friday July 4th (at 8pm) and is located at Miami Cocktail Bar in Copenhagen. All you have to do to attend is email your name to firstname.lastname@example.org (oh and dont forget to invite your friends!!) I posted the invite below but you can also view it on their Facebook page here.
Ok so I totally fell off and have been neglecting my blog like no other. But for reals i’m trying my hardest to get the hang of this and get back into the swing of things. Hopefully since my work load at uni is dying down and I find myself with plenty of time there’s no excuse. So here I am. And I come bearing wonderful nail art gifts.
I got my nails did when I was in Cali during x-mas to visit my family. And of course the wonderful Asako from Nail Art House in SF hooked me up, as always 😀 She always makes my nails look so darn pretty!!!!
So this is the first set I got at the beginning of my trip. Pink Calgel and Asako’s very own concoction of gold pigment and a super sparkly MAC loose glitter that was to die for. She only had a tiny little bit and was nice enough to use it on me! I thought the skull on my left hand and the cute little bow were perfect for the holidays 😀
And this was the set I got right before I left back home. Of course I had to go out with a bang and this set just speaks for it’s self. Both hands are Calgel in a gradient of emerald green (BTW it’s the Pantone color of the year) adorned with super cool leopard stickers and 3D pieces.
Well I hope you guys will look forward to some super cool posts about nail art and beauty. Im feeling hella positive and feel like im finally gonna take this blogging seriously 😀 im actually excited to work on the next post for you guys and make up for all my nonsense!!!
