February Beauty Favorites

Hey guys :)

february_beauty_FavroitesSo I’ve been off the grid as of late, IΒ  just handed in my Masters Thesis and been doing a lot of freelance work for Make Up For Ever…so I’ve been one busy gal. I finally had the chance to dedicate some time to videos and blogs. So today I’d like to share my favorite beauty products from the month of Feb. I normally do a blog post but I thought I’d try it in a video so take a look below. Do let me know if you prefer it in a blog as opposed to a video!!!

Summer Sephora Haul

Hey guys πŸ˜€

So apart from eating loads of good food and hanging out with the family, shopping is one of my favorite holiday activities πŸ˜€ LOL!! Some may even call it a sport!! Every time I come to the US I load up on makeup and clothing. Especially brands you cant really get out in Europe and certainly not really out in Denmark.

First stop was Sephora to get some products I’ve been wanting to try and repurchases of things I’ve ran out of. So here’s what I got on my fruitful trip to wonderful Sephora on Powell street in SF.

I picked up 2 eye shadow palettes

The Too Faced Loves Sephora Palette ($52). Its a limited edition palette boasting 10 awesome eye shadow shades, two bronzers, a blush, a brush that I’m not excited about, and a mini shadow insurance.

I Also picked up the Stilla In The Light Eye Shadow Palette ($39).Β This palette also comes with 10 shades and a smudge proof waterproof eyeliner in Damsel. Ive been eying this bad boy for over a year now. I don’t really need another neutral palette but I just gave in. Plus Ive been wanting to try the Kitten shade for ever!!!!

The Josie Maran Argan Infinity Cream was next on my list ($28). I actually tried to get my brother to pick this up for me before he came to visit at Easter time but they were all sold out. Its meant to be an all over miracle cream. It claims to moisturize, sooth irritated skin, great for dry elbows, keep stray eyebrows in place, smooth flyaways, prevent or sooth razor burn, use as a lip conditioner, the list is endless really!!! Ive heard raving reviews and I’m really excited to try it out. Especially for my super dry elbow and occasional dry patches around my nose and chin.

Ive always wanted to try one of the Buxom Full-on Lip Creams ($19). So I picked up one of the newer shades in Mai Tai. Its a super bright coral orange, a shade I’m mighty obsessed with this summer πŸ˜€

And lastly I picked up the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara ($19). This is my holy grail mascara. Its amazing, especially over the Tarte primer. I ran out a few months ago so I had to pick up another one. I might even get one more back up because who knows when ill be back in the US as Ive got thesis writing coming up next semester.

I’m sure I’ll have plenty more beauty hauls to come. I for sure need to go back to Sephora and pick up a stash of Clarasonic heads, and repurchase my Josie Maran Argan Oil. I also need to pick up a new face wash. I’m using The Philosophy Purity cleanser. Its great but I think I’m ready to try something new since Ive been using that non stop for a year now and its almost done. If you have any suggestions on great cleansers for dry to combination and sensitive skin then please let me know πŸ˜€

Sephora Haul

Hey guys so I did a Sephora haul recently just before my trip to Norway. A few things i needed for my trip and a few things i just got because I thought they were cute!!Β  Anyways, this is what I got πŸ˜€

Nails Inc

Bling it on Midnight: Super cool nail art set with loose glitters. I think I’m gonna try this bad boy out tonight so keep a look out for pics here and on my instagram @victoriagoldstein321

Sephora products:

Travel size cleansing milk and toner: I picked these guys to bring with me on my snowboard trip to Norway. Not only are they affordable but the cleansing milk is super soothing and does the trick, so does the toner.

The new “2 in 1 waterproof eye makeup remover gel“: What Sephora says about it; dermotologically and ophthalmologically tested, formulated without parabens, suitable for sensitive eyes, very effective without leaving an oily film, soothes the eye area with cornflower extract and moisturizes the skin, and helps to strengthen lashes. I definetly think its a good eye make up remover. Im super sensitive around the eye area, I get itchy and red super quick so I hate having to rub like a mad man. And this product seems to deliver on what it claims, I’m not too sure about strengthening my lashes as I’ve only used it a few times but it definitely is effective, doesn’t sting my eyes and does feel moisturizing. Plus the price is nice πŸ˜€ LOL!!!

Daily brush cleaner: I really like this brush cleanser for spot cleaning, its super effective, antibacterial and its makes my brushes feel soft. Theres a slight odor when you spray the product but the smell doesn’t linger. Its a great product at a great price. I do wish they made it in a bigger size though because I go through these guys pretty quick.

They’re Real waterproof mascara: this guy needs no explanation, super black, lengthening, separating and voluminous. The only thing i hate about it is its soooo hard to get off, but on the plus size it never smudges and lasts so long πŸ˜€

Well guys that’s it for now. But Ive got some really fun and exciting hauls to share with you soon, and some goodies form my trip to Norway.

Have a great one πŸ˜€
