Fun and Easy Summer Nails using Depend Cosmetic GelLack + VIP EVENT

Hey Guys,

So I’m back in Copenhagen after a lovely holiday in Cali visiting the parents and I finally had the chance to try out the new GelLack Neon Collection by Depend Cosmetic. Each polish costs 79 dkk (around 11 Euros) and can be purchased here on

dependcosmetic_gellack_neonCollectionI used Neon Green and Neon Coral on my accent nail, and added a super cute anchor charm from Hex Nail Jewelry (can be purchased here).

I absolutely love the shades in the Neon Collection, so bright, fun, and totally summer appropriate. You get full glossy opacity in three coats (totally normal for neon shades) and of course it lasts for weeks. To find out exactly how to apply GelLack I have a full tutorial and review here.

And since I’m talking about Depend Cosmetic; they are throwing a super lavish VIP Party and Event for all you lovely ladies (and gents) out there. It will include drinks, eyelash applications (done by yours truly), an awesome goodie bag full of presents and some good old fashion fun. The event is on Friday July 4th (at 8pm) and is located at Miami Cocktail Bar in Copenhagen. All you have to do to attend is email your name to (oh and dont forget to invite your friends!!) I posted the invite below but you can also view it on their Facebook page here.

Mix and Match Nail Art using Depend Cosmetic GelLack

Hey Guys :)

I’m sure you already know by now that I’m totally obsessed with the Depend Cosmetic GelLack polishes and LED system, the color selection is amazing, the final results and longevity is ten fold of traditional nail polish and it’s pretty budget friendly.

Currently I’m pretty into doing mix and match nails, it gives me a chance to wear several shades when I can’t make up my mind (because they’re all soooo pretty!!). Plus it’s a fast and effective way to spice up your mani with pretty little effort.

From left to right I used the shades Midnight Glitter, Romantic Plum & French White, Fresh Mint & French White & Black As Night, French White and Twinkle Gold

You can check out my tutorial for how to create polka dots and leopard print here

From left to right I used shades Candy Floss, Sweet Purple, Princess Sparkle Glitter, Pink Daisy, Pink Lady Glitter

I’ll be be doing some new designs soon so keep an eye out for those. In the meantime totally tag me on Instagram @binkydiamonds so I can see your recreations.

If you simply don’t have the time nor the patience or the desire to paint and create a design then simply try out some stick on nails. I know that sounds super 90’s but the technology has advanced a fair bit since then. L’Oreal has a new range called Nails A Porter and its amazing. There are a bunch of crazy cute designs, they are pretty thin and flexible so they appear some what natural, super easy to apply (they come with this sticky gel pad you place on your natural nail to adhere with the fake one), and they last for a good few days without any wear or tear.

Loreal_nailsaporterHopefully this gave you some inspiration. Whatever you decide to do be confident and rock it with pride. Have an amazing New Years Eve and be safe. BTW if any one tries these designs id love to see them so post them on instagram and @binkydiamonds me 😀
