Review & Swatches: Nars Matte Multiples in Altai + Anguilla

So If you don’t already know I love me some cream blush and contour. Its great for dry skin, provides more longevity then traditional powder products, and are generally super easy to blend. When I saw the new Nars Matte Multiples launched in Sephora Denmark a few weeks ago I knew I had to pick up a few to try. Although there are seven new shades in the collection we only received four of them so I grabbed Altai and Anguilla (41 Euros each).

Altai is a great medium warm toned brown with a slight peach undertone. The pigmentation is insane but the texture is so creamy and soft which make it super easy to blend out. I love using it as a contour shade although its warm in tone it doesn’t pull orange or muddy on my skin. The finish is matte yet leaves a very subtle glow. As for longevity this stuff wears all day for me without fading or patching, granted I always use a primer and setting powder.

Anguilla is a medium pink with warm undertones. Again the finish is matte yet isn’t drying and it gives a beautiful yet very subtle glow. The color payoff and pigmentation is really great and once again because of its soft creamy texture its easy to blend out for a more sheer application. The longevity was also fab with this one lasting all day long.

THE VERDICT:

5/5 for these glorious creamy products. Great pigmentation, nice smooth and creamy texture for easy blendability and fabulous longevity.

I absolutely love these Matte Multiples and they are also multipurpose as they can be used on the lips (although I haven’t tried it ). I’m even thinking about getting my hands on a few other shades. Have you thought about picking up one or two of these bad boys? Which shade would you go for?
