Hello fellow make up lovers 😀
I Thought I’d share with you all my top 5 eye shadow primers 😀 Lorac Behind the Scenes, Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden (available from beautybay.com/sephora.com), NYX HD Eyeshadow Base (nyx.com/amazon.com) and Mac Paint Pot in Painterly.
I use eye primers everyday when doing my make up, even when I’m not using eye shadow. The benefits are great, it makes your eye shadow last all day, stops creasing, gives your eyeshadow something to latch onto, helps vibrancy of shadows, and can even be used alone for oil control and discoloration in some cases.
Lorac Behind the Scenes, Too faced Shadow Insurance, and NYX HD Eyeshadow Base are all rather similar. They apply transparent and have a silky smooth texture.
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden (beautybay.com/sephora.com) has the same effect as the above mentioned but it is flesh/nude toned and completely matte. This is one is even great to use without eyeshadow. It really controls oil and hides veins and discoloration. Same for Mac Paint Pot in Painterly, although its not really a primer but a shadow base, it does a great job concealing, preventing creasing, and longevity. The texture of these is a little thicker in consistency and texture.
Have your tried any of these? Whats your favorite eye primer?
